Lesley Lyrics AKA Lezlee Lyrix (b. William Henry) was born in Lewisham, South East London. He was a resident deejay for the shortlived sound Ghettotone and went on to work with Saxon.
In 2006 Dr. William Henry released a book called What the Deejay Said: A Critique from the Street! (published by Nu-Beyond Ltd: Learning By Choice!), the first book on UK Dancehall. He is currently a Lecturer in the Department Of Sociology at Goldsmiths College, University Of London.
